Came to this conclusion after deep research led me to the enemy of Cupid (Roman God of principles over falling in love) named Anteros, whom represents requited (mutual) love, and punisher of instances that are unrequited.

This reason also has an alternative as there are some groups who believe that Cupid was in fact an evil God, stating that he "Made people suffer from unrequited love" meaning he shot person A with an arrow, then shot person B (who's supposed to be with A) with an arrow, falling in love with person C.
