Pt 39.5 // Bad Dream

Celeste woke up in bed. Tharnex was still asleep, his arms wrapped around her. Then she heard voices in the living room. "-happened while we were gone?" asked Bakug0n. "Annie and Rose started dating," replied Floran. Then there was quick movement. "Are you okay?" asked Floran. "Yeah, I am fine," replied Bakug0n. "Just a little dizzy." Celeste drifted off to sleep. In her dream, she was in a dimly lit room. She, Bakug0n, and Clepo were strapped to chairs. Above each of their heads hung some sort of helmet contraption. In the center of a room, a large scary machine hummed. Celeste struggled in her bonds. She tried to talk, but her mouth wouldn't move. Then the Engineer and Vivaan entered the room. The Engineer had no face, but Celeste imagined her smiling a wide, evil grin. Vivaan approached Celeste. "There is no way out this time," he taunted, brushing his tail against her face. Engineer chuckled. "With the combined energy of the Purple Crystal, Shadow Gem, and Neon Pearl," she began to cackle, "I will finally have enough power for my great machine!"
