Golden Eagles are one of the most well known Eagles to be domesticated for eagle hunting. If you do enjoy these birds then I recommend watching the Eagle Huntress. This is a cool documentary on eagle hunting.
Eagles do not normally flap their wings to fly, but only to start themselves off before they detect updrafts that they use to make them fly higher and higher in the sky. Paragliders normally watch eagles so they can find where updrafts are so they can go higher and higher into the air.
