The Kingdom of Prussia 1701-1918 was one of the world most militaristic nations discribed as "A Army with a state". Their soldiers where some of the brave and flexible on the battlefield of the mid to late 1800s. With wars like the Franco-Prussian war where. they suffered massive casualties in battle but with a go on attitute managed to take many impressive victories against the armies of the 2nd French Empire.
