Don't give up. Your skins may not be all that good at first, but practice makes perfect. Watching tutorials also helps a ton, someone I would really recommend watching would be ElvenJedi, her tutorials helped me a ton when I first started skinning. Also, make skins that you personally like. Look at the top page frequently and pick your favorite skins and try to learn from them on how to do certain aspects of a skin.

That's a long time but the effort really shows!!

Lastly, my final question is:

Do you have any advice for new skinners?

If so what is it?

Depends on my motivation levels. If I power through a skin though, a skin without light sourcing can take around 30 minutes, but if I am using light sourcing it can take more around an hour to make.

I think I'm speaking for almost everyone when I say that I love your style!!

Anyway to start wrapping things up my next question is:

How long does it take to make each skin?

It was a gradual change. Not sure exactly how it happened. I just knew I didn't want to make skins that looked like everyone else's.

I loved how they all turned out. They're fabulous!!

How did you come up with your particular style?

I noticed my skins hadn't been doing as well as they had been, as well as the fact that I was becoming dissatisfied with my style, and so I've been trying to put more time and effort into my more recent skins.

To move things along, I noticed that recently you've been trying to shake things up a bit with your skins and stuff. Why?

Maybe for 4k, but probably not for the like goal.
