Naeus

Begin Again:

Naeus made his first appearance in Begin Again, where he served as an advisor to King Glutton and then, in turn, Abigail Crysteffor. He informed her of the rumors within the Nether about warriors questioning her humanity, to which she had argued about her battles in the Overworld being sufficient proof. Before she could tell him to allow her to fight them, Naeus stopped her, reminding her that she has yet to absorb the Nether Star, and advised her not to be so hasty. He goes on to ask her if she knew who she was, to which she repeated her title and asked of him to teach her the Nether's customs before pitting her against the fiercest warriors.
Naeus next led her into a meeting with Glutton, where a Wither Knight protested that Abigail was not worthy of ruling. Abigail attempted to get in front of him before he threw her across the room, leading her to flee in shame as Naeus called for her. He soon found her close to a cliff-face and presented her with the Ruby Thorn, teaching her to fight with it as he promised before observing her fight the warriors, killing all including the particular one who humiliated her...........
