After a long journey through the Overworld you would often find yourself resting at the Thornwood Inn in the town of Deep Root, located right on the edge of the Soulrot Forest. But after a extensive journey into the mountains North of Deep Root you returned to find the towns people infected by what seems to be roots. They attack you on sight and drive you out of Deep Root, as you fall back to a better vantage point you look out on a sea of waving green, you see the buildings in the town start to morph and become incased in the roots of the surrounding forest.
