(this is going off the theory that clans are given by being exposed to a clan for a while.)
anyways, he was born clanless (like everyone else) but he was exposed to enderknites for a long time.
everyone thinks he is a mendoris but in reality he is an ender-obsidain warrior.
(also he has chunks of obsidian all over him)
