Thx so much for the tips! I find the hue shifting and skin shading ESPECIALLY helpful!!
I can’t do Hair HELP ME :(
I personally think Hair is most difficult. For skin and clothing you Can do it either messy or parallel, but both look great! But hair is c o n f u s i n g. It needs a "rythm" but it cant be perfect. It has to be a little messy, or else itll look like plastic or something. SOMEONE HELP

no problem! i just felt like it was important to mention having a good idea of what hue shifting actually does since it can help a lot.
everyone is bad at hue shifting at first. you get good at it by practicing. i was bad at hue shifting at first but then i practiced and practiced and now i have a really good understanding of how it works. keep trying and over time, your hue shifting will get better
Ill keep practicing
these are very good tips, i'd like to add onto the hue shifting tip if you don't mind though

this isn't a hard rule but generally with hue shifting what you want to do is shift your shadows, or darker colors, more towards blue or purple, and shift your highlights or lighter colors more towards yellow. keep in mind i said towards though, you don't have to necessarily use yellow or purple for your highlights or shadows, you just generally want to move the color closer to those colors instead of away. it's why usually green palettes have blue shadows and red palettes have purple shadows, while green palettes having more blue highlights and red palettes having pink highlights can look kinda weird
