Then, she let her muscles relax and felt the tingling in her paws. She then felt her entire body wash over with that feeling. Her vision cleared, and she saw Mato staring at her like she grew an extra head. He looked at her like this because she was now a human.

She walked up to him until there was a good six feet between them. Truly, thanks. I would have been those wolves food if you hadnt shown up when you did. Im not too good at fighting either, so I wouldnt have stood a chance. Im Mato by the way.

She circled back to the boy to study his face. He couldnt be much older than she was, but the way he stood made him look three years younger. T-thanks wolf. You're not gonna eat me too, are you? She shook her head and the boy looked wildly at her. You can understand what Im saying? She nodded and he fell back to sit on the ground.

She sprinted to the boy, biting the two wolves who were attacking him. They looked at her and then ran off. Then she circled around and ran at the one with the fish. The other wolf dropped it immediately and took off after the other wolves.

A boy was trying to defend himself against three wolves. One was tearing at one of the fish next to the unlit campfire, and the other two were barking at the boy, jumping at him and making him scream louder.
