Sarah tried to remember more about what she had seen, but she could only remember the purple glowing tree, a dungeon or jail cell of some sort, and a bright blue house with two yellow bushes in the front. She then heard a static-y sound in her head and then everything went silent. She couldnt hear anything, and she couldnt see anything either. It looked like she was in a pitch-black room with no doors, no ending. She thought, What am I going to do now?

Suddenly, pictures started flashing through her head. She caught glimpses of what she saw. A purple glowing tree, a dungeon or jail cell of some sort, and a bright blue house with two yellow bushes in the front. Sam was looking at Sarah with a shocked look. She looked back at him and realized she was sitting, with her knees bent, and that she was holding her head in agony or frustration. She couldnt feel anything while the images were flashing through her mind. She didnt have a clue what was happening either.

Sarah asked Sam why he wanted to talk to her mom. He didnt want to say anything. He just sipped the green tea calmly like nothing had happened. Sarah asked him if he was a friend of her moms. He said he was a friend of her moms, but that was all he said. Sarah was confused of why she hadnt seen him if he was a friend of her moms. Maybe they were long-lost friends and he was planning on seeing her, but her mom wasnt there.

Sarah gestured the man to come into the house so he could have some hot tea and rest. She needed company anyway. Sarah had been alone for a couple of days, and she couldnt stand the silence. She also almost forgot to ask the man for his name. His name was Sam. Sarah didnt think that Sam was a name to have for a kidnapper or criminal of some sort that would make her mom disappear with a scream. It seemed pretty nice. Sarah introduced herself, and finally finished making the green tea.

The man looked at her with great confusion. You mean, you dont know where she is? At all? Sarah shook her head. He said, Thank you for telling me. I had a lot of questions to ask her, including the scream I heard a couple nights ago. He looked at Sarah with arched eyebrows when Sarahs eyes widened. I heard a scream too.

Sarah had just finished dusting the lonely and silent house when she heard a knock on the door. She hesitantly stepped to the door, not knowing what to expect. She slowly twisted the doorknob open, and opened the door. Hello. Is there anything you need? Sarah said. The man she was looking at was tall, a little plump, and didnt look very scary at all. He replied with, Yes. I need to speak to your mother. Sarah didnt know what to tell him. Um, she isnt here at the moment. I dont know where she is actually.

In her room, though, she found a note that didnt have any recognizable handwriting. It said: I found out what your mind - And then there was a long dash on the note like the pencil was snatched from that person. Thoughts started to flood into her head. What is it? Who wrote it? Why did they write this note?
