Cosmos Steve, originally used to be IndigoViolet, a steve mostly Indigo with Violet parts scattered all on his body, wanted something more other than just the world he already new, and used his power of connection and his passionate disire of other worldly things to construct himself anew, and added special tech to himself so he could easily travel the cosmos, and he became Cosmos Steve.
