His emerald eyes rest on the silhouette of an outpost against the sunrise, half burned down and abandoned in the snowy mountains. He must make it. He will make it. For the thing still stalks him. The body of iron and eyes of a deep crimson, ever-following as it's remaining arm reaches for revenge. He must get to shelter. Before the metal beast finds him first.
