Cardinal

This was a fun request from WallyBoy, a cardinal! I did a male Northern Cardinal since they are a more pretty bright red, where the females are a more dull brown, but if someone wants a female version I am happy to do so! Enjoy!

CARDINAL FUN FACTS:
- Occasionally, a lack of the typical red pigment in the plumage occurs and is replaced by vibrant yellow or orangish pigments, which results in a yellow cardinal! They are very rare though, and seeing one is a huge deal among bird watchers.
- The average lifespan of a Northern Cardinal is approximately three years
- The Northern Cardinals song sounds as if they are saying birdie, birdie, birdie or cheer, cheer, cheer.
- Northern Cardinals are also occasionally called a Virginia Nightingale or Winter Redbird
- Of all three cardinal species belonging to the Cardinalis genus, Northern Cardinals are found in the northernmost regions
- The Northern Cardinal is the official state bird of 7 eastern states: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia
- Northern Cardinals are mostly a non-migratory species, opting to stay for the winter in their chosen spring/summer habitat.
