I hope nobody dies in Westbound o_o
''Lina, can you get into the cameras above floor 6?'' Kyra asked.
''No, sorry. The security on those levels are too strong.'' Lina replied.
''Okay.'' Kyra then turned to her earpiece. ''Listen, we cannot watch you anymore because Lina can't get into the cameras. You're all going in blind, so good luck.''
''I hope they will be okay.'' Lina said.
''I hope so too.''
''Floor 8 everyone, let's go!'' Piano ordered.
''Piano, which floor are you on?'' May asked.
''We're going to floor 8,'' Piano replied. ''Why?''
''Oh, it's just we've finished and there's people that still want to fight. Kyra told me to send them to your group. Is that okay?''
''Of course! Meet us by the stairs on floor 8 ASAP and they can join me.''
''Great, I'll send them.''
''That's floor 5 done! How are you doing Piano?'' Sophia asked.
''Just done floor 6,'' Piano replied through the earpiece. ''Once you do floor 7, meet me at the stairs on floor 8 and we'll take down the last 2 floors together.''
''Okay, come on everyone!''
One of the employees gave the leader an amethyst shard. ''Do what you did in the cave.''
I tried to think back to what I did in the cave, and stared at the crystal hard. Nothing happened though.
''Why isn't it working?!'' the leader shouted.
''I don't know! Maybe it needs to be closer,'' I suggested.
''Closer you say...'' the leader thought. ''Guards, keep her here. I have an idea.'' He then walked out of the room.
They had put power cuffs on me straight away, and led me up the stairs to floor 9. There, there was a testing room which they brought me in and tied me down to the table in the centre. I had been waiting there was about 10 minutes, before someone walked in. I immediately recognised him: the leader.
''Now usually I wouldn't watch these tests, but you intrigue me,'' he said, ''how do you make amethyst glow exactly?''
''Why would I tell you?'' I replied.
''Well, haven't you noticed your situation right now? There's no way you could get away, so to spare your life, tell me. How do you work?''
''I don't know, okay?! It just happened. That's all.''
''Sir, maybe we can get her to do it again?'' an employee suggested.
