a lot of popular skins are easy on the eyes and smooth/slightly unsaturated colors, and if not, then they're hueshifted or something

also, there isn't a huge variety of color on them, unless they're complimentary colors or something about color theory. Some people might've just happened to make a skin that has these features, or knew about it the whole time. That's why i think its popular
