I had an interview with Jingles, here you go:

Q: what inspired you to make skins
A: ive always been interested in minecraft art. but what caused me to first create skins wasnt actually that complicated, i just wanted a skin for myself. i started off by editing skins to my liking, and just browsing skindex. i was so impressed by some of the things that people were creating, that i decided to give it a try.
Q: for how long did you made skins
A: i started a year ago and only edited them/made them, but i got more serious 6 months ago
Q: Did you had any name changes if you did, what were they
A: always been jingles
Q: how did you got so good with making skins?
A: firstly, i started out by editing work to liking, and recoloring skins. then, i started combining hair bases and outfits. next, i started making bases and using outfits. i created full skins by myself and the rest practiced
