'Ack!' The husk grunted, pulling Felix's boot off altogether. Felix climbed out of the ship's hole and far away from it. When he was sure he was far enough he looked down at his barepaw. 'Well that's just great...guess I'll have to find an abandoned shoe store or something.' For the time being, he wrapped his paw up in old bandages he found in a crashed helicopter. The sun beat down on the poor fox as he wandered the horrible land. Finally he spotted a town, not many houses but it might have food, in it but better yet, it might have people. 'Ya-hoo!' Felix cried out, running towards it.

Felix heard the groaning of the beasts. How couldn't he? They were one of the loudest things in the wasteland. He grabbed the crowbar and raised it above his head, ready to slam it into their skulls. The first husk came out of the shadows, while they were slow they were also very strong. The husk groaned and threw itself at the poor fox. 'Eep!' Felix screamed. He clobbered it in the side of it's skull. The husk let out a dry moan and fell to the ground. Felix looked at the thing, then heard more groaning coming from the shadows. He grabbed the rest of the water and ran to the exit. As he grabbed the top of the opening a husk grabbed his boot. 'No! No no no no no!' Felix cried. the beast pulled hard on Felix's boot. He grabbed the crowbar and hit the top of it's head.
