The next morning I woke up, distressed. Had it been a dream? No... I'm 14 years old... how hard can surviving on my own be? 'Keep it together Ellie. Keep. It. Together.' I worried myself even more thinking about what that creature was. That's when a black shadow ran past me. 'Cinnamon... stop it!' I yelled! It was not Cinnamon.
