I imagined birds chirping, flowers blooming, then, the school bell rang. Im late again! I half shouted under my breath. Looking around, I saw a beautiful school covered with flowers and trees. No. this was reality, where I was just a 12-year-old girl, who considered herself brave and spent too much time reading comic books and watching movies. I stared at my watch, 9:08amlate. I repeated. I sped up my pace, darting behind the stairs when I saw Mr Curtis strolling towards the lecture hall. I needed to find a place to hide until break so they would just mark me absent and make up another excuse.

Should I go into the out of bound area? It was long promised to be re-constructed, and I was sure no one would find me there. I lowered my bag off my back and slipped past the rows of classrooms, the cafeteria and the lecture room. There it was sign I was looking for: OUT OF BOUNDS.

After a few minutes of crying, I gathered myself, and left the building. Outside, the school ground was filled with moans. I dashed to the schools main exit and entrance gate; it led to the city. My jaws dropped, when I saw the state of the City, I once called my home. People running, panicking, screaming. I darted behind a bus stop bench area. The words rang inside my head like sirens, The Apocalypse Has Begun...
at the back of her wrist as if she were looking down at a wrong way around watch. I didnt want to watch, nor could I watch, one of the former children was getting dangerously close to me, I locked the door from the other side, and shut it, sorrowfully. I leaned against the wooden door, sliding down into a sitting position. theyre gone, I cried, Katlin, Jack, Troy, Elisabeth and Emilia, theyre all gone! Tears streamed down my face, as I sat there, helpless, clueless.
men, zombified children. Screams filled the room, some of which were my own. My best friend Katlin turned to me, Run! she screamed, get out while youre still alive! her scream soon turned to pain, when two of the zombies, bit into her flesh. One got her wrist, the other her shoulder, she stared down
my classroom, the door was made of thick wood, but I could hear screams coming from inside. Many times, already today, Ive had to open doors un-willingly. But still, I had to do it one more time. Slowly, carefully I opened it, and walked into a horror scene. Three children were in the room, which were accompanied by about thirty more, not children, not adults, not women not
I began to run. I ran carelessly past my bag, back towards the main part of the school. One of the teachers could call the police, or someone else to deal with what I just saw. When I arrived, the school was quiet, I reassured myself not to freak out by looking at my watch, 10:21, everyone should be either in their home room, or in the morning lecture room. I raced up the stairs, it was still creepily quiet as I entered the second-floor hall. At the end of this hallway, lay
I pulled up a bin and pushed it in front of the door, so it couldnt get out. I stared at it, and my upper lip began twitching in disgust. Turning, I blinked, eyes wide, expecting a mob of zombies, coming for me.
really that stupid? But it was already too late. The door swung open, and I saw it. The thing I have dredged all day, green and disgusting, zombie Turned and ran, back to the dead receptionist, back to the main door. As quick as I could, I slipped out and slammed it shut, right it its face. While it regained copiousness
Would I be killing someone for no reason? No. a human would have begun shouting, screaming or yelling for help. The door most definitely wasnt soundproof, otherwise how would I have heard something in the first place? The thumping stopped. I felt so relieved that so much pressure was lifted of my back, that I leaned away from the door. Was I
Of course, it wasnt real! I wondered what I really saw, what my imagination decided to paste its features onto? A human? A plastic skeleton? I couldnt guess. But to my horror, something began thumping on the back of the door, something strong. I pressed myself against the door in horror, but whatever was on the other side, it was strong, stronger than I was. What if its just some kind of employee and theres a fire in there?
