this chapter is a lot longer, sorry, as I mentioned, this was originally written as a short story, therefore dividing it into chapters was hard, I'm also re-writing bits that I don't like, I'm considering the original story as a draft, so some parts have been added to quite a bit. please don't comment until I'm done, thanks!

Felipe looked into the crystal girls shiny eyes. Was it his imagination? Had she really turned? if she had, it looked to be slightly more, he thought.
'You mean shes actually moved or-' he started but didnt finish the sentence. She nodded. 'Perhaps. You seem to be the only one whos noticed, however.' 'You mean to say nobody elses noticed.' The girl in the fox mask shrugged. 'Maybe they do. If so, not everybodys brave, you know.'

'You figure the stories are true, dont you?'
'I- what?'
The girl gestured at the crystal statue, twinkling lights reflecting on her skirt.

'Your drinks gone flat,' she pointed out. 'I noticed.' Felipe he looked across the room again, then back down at her. She sipped her drink.
'Whatd you mean, I might be right?'

'I suppose you might be right,' said a quiet voice at Felipes shoulder.
He glanced down to see the girl in the fox mask with the bouncy blue curls standing next to him, holding a drink of her own.
