Wade Withers was living a great life until he found out he had terminal cancer. He knew this was a fatal disease, so he was desperate to find a cure. He found these scientists who had a regeneration potion that can cure anything, which they mixed with the Withers DNA. It worked, but it ended up scaring him and gave him wither powers. From that day on he became Wither Pool.
