William. L was my great uncle, he was a pilot in the U.S military in WW2. His plane was shot down and he became a prisoner of war. He managed to survive being beaten and tortured. This is only how I imagine him looking. I'm not looking for likes or comments or anything, I'm just trying to tell you about this amazing man I wish I could have met.
