I really like how he turned out, in my mind he was supposed to be a street punk wearing a hoodie and ripped jeans.

Alexus is a user of a rare type of crimson fire magic which mutates his eyes to be bloodshot and red.

His magic is quite powerful but when he uses it his eyes get a burning feeling that lasts 10 seconds. The reason for this is that since his magic mutates his eyes to be bloodshot and red, his magic and his eyes have a correlation with each other.

He puts his hair over his eyes so as to not scare locals because of his bloodshot red eyes and the reddish shadows around his eyes which are caused by wiping his eyes because of the burning.
