Improving skin

A follower of mine was struggling with shading, so I used his skin (the one on your right) as a base fore the improved version.

Pay attention!
He has left some areas on the skin uncoloured such as the bottom of the shirt, the top of the legs and the inner part of the hands.

Shading

The shading seen here is simple. Just a straight line from the neck to the feet.
This could work, if the legs were different colour, because painting the legs with the same colour makes the policeman look like he is wearing a dress
Also I would recommend shading hands and face as well.

Variety

This skin also looked kind of poor in terms of decorative elements.
Just by adding some items such as belt, buttons, sleeves, and a police badge on his chest does really improve the skin.
