Red Wash

Throughout the woodlands, night said its final farewell. Dawn arrived, thus painting the sky a dusty rose shot with columns of gold, lavender, and fiery crimson. The silence of dawn was broken only by birdsong. Each bird's sound on its own was unique, but together a symphony was composed
drifting through the vast sky, the wind tickled the branches of the great oak trees, arousing them from their deep slumber-- all the while lazy bumble bees gossiped with each nectar-filled flower eager to hear their stories. woodlanders stirred, lighting their fireplaces, ready to cook a hearty breakfast for their kin.
As the sun shone through his cottage and onto his face, Adran the squirrel smiled to himself. The village of Red Wash had awoken.
