With the 11th pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Ben Roethlisberger , quarterback, University of Miami (Ohio). I don't care WHO you are, Ben Roethlisberger is and always has been amazing every since he joined the NFL. Big Ben (his nickname inspired by the clock tower in London) has accrued so many accolades that it is difficult to pick and choose which ones to put in this bio. He became the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2004 and is a 6-time pro bowler. In 2006, he led the Steelers to an 11-5 record and the 6th seed in the NFL Playoffs. They ran the table and beat the Seahwaks 21-10 in Super Bowl XL. Ben's next trophy was in the 2008 season. It was SB XLIII against the Arizona Cardinals. Big Ben and co. were down by 3 with 2:30 remaining in the 4th. He marched his team down the field 88 yards connecting with Santonio Holmes 4 times (including the game winning TD).
