She didn't deserve to die. Come to think of it, neither did I.
I went back to the pad she saw me writing on, then took out another one, the one I was copying off of before Sasha walked in on me. My friend the brilliant mathematician gave it to me, hoping I would do it right. I had decided that I would end the world tomorrow, without Sasha on the scene. I already told you she was actually brilliant. If she was there when we turned our creation on, she might figure out that something was up.

The public was convinced that this project was going to give them clean sustainable energy forever. The equations said that was right, but we had been planning this for millennia. In our ranks was the brilliant person that made those equations, meaning that if I did them right, the end of the world and our sufferings would be upon us. My only regret was Sasha: she was the one friend that I had made in my entire life. I am convinced that there has never been anyone like her.

''Of course I'm still your friend.''
''Then can I have some positive reinforcement for once?''
''How about this: don't do it wrong and the world won't end.Easy, right?'' She smiled. ''I am going to get back to work now. Do not mess that equation up!'' She walked to the door, then paused and said, ''Please.'' as an afterthought.
I still fail to see how that was positive.

We have talked about this many times and I am convinced you only think she works hard because Aaron was such a slacker. (Aaron was our last secretary)

She walked over to me, checking my work over my shoulder. She said, You know if you do that last equation wrong, you get a disaster similar to the one Star labs got in the flash, except instead of Barry getting superpowers, he dies from a black hole-like tornado.

Hey, do you know where I put the press conference schedule? Lexi needs it. A both beautiful and brilliant scientist was the woman who peeked her head through my door on one of the last days the world would know.
No, I don't, Sasha. Have you checked her desk?
Yeah, I can't find it. Lexi can just print another one, right?
Why are you running errands for her anyway? She's the secretary, not you.
She was busy, and I offered to. She's a steal, working so hard for so little.

They were all tired. I was a schemer, determined to help them. I discovered that we could create a situation and thus a chance to die: the only catch was, the situation had to be a natural thing. We couldnt die from someone else pushing us off a cliff, and we couldnt jump off the cliff. I used my knowledge of natural disasters (I had witnessed many of them that were devastating) to create one that would end it all. The humans didnt know this. In fact, they helped me.
