hfffffffff I did this on an outfit base once, I put the hair bow on the face and messed up a whole lot of stuff because I kept spinning it around and lost track of the front TvT

reset skin (makes it so the front is facing front) and then do the eyes first so you can see where the front is, this way you can easily avoid this problem.
