GOAT FUN FACTS:
- Goats were one of the first animals to be tamed, all the way back at 9,000 years ago!
- Goats can be taught their name and to come when called, so cute!
- The life span of a goat is about the same as a dog's
- Goats will become depressed without any goat companions, they prefer herds
- Goats have four stomachs, gotta digest all that grass!
- Goats, being mountain animals are very good at climbing; they've been known to climb to the tops of trees to get food or just play.
- Goats don't have teeth on their upper jaw, makes chewing a bit harder.
- Goats have rectangular pupils his gives them vision for about 330 degrees (humans can see 160-210) around them without having to turn their heads and they are thought to be able to see perfectly in the dark!
