Chapter one: How??

Jane tiredly walked home from school. She had taken her exams and school was over. Pulling out the key, she unlocked the door and flung her bag full of A's on the floor. Then she found her mom in the kitchen, baking dinner. ,how was it?, her mom asked.,a's as usual,Jane replied, can I go to the dump to find parts for my radio?,
,of course, her mom answered. Jane grabbed her radio and headed off. When she got there, she rummaged through the piles and found all the parts.then a certain bracelet caught her eye. She picked it up and examined it. The strap was cloth and there was something diamond shaped on the top. she put it on and went home. After dinner she fell asleep in her bed.

In the morning, after a breakfast full of pancakes, she repaired her radio and turned it on.Her favorite song played and she started to fiddle with the bracelet. Then she pressed the top.Suddenly, a portal appeared and Jane jumped back.
