This is basically the god of my animal world. He created winged animals to help save His world, but after sending his last and special one, one of His kind got jealous and broke his statue locking Him us in the moon. Now He can only use his powers during lunar eclipses and come out while and where a solar eclipse happens (around 8 minutes). That as a lot...
He's a mix of a bunch of animals.
