Ok so this is my tutorial skin. I know Im not very good, but as much as I know I know from looking at the skins of people with lots of followers, like mochii. If you want to learn a new technique, look up a well liked skin first, and observe how they use the layers to make it.

And I know, the colors here are AWFUL, But bear with me. The warmer the color, the darker a shade it is from you chosen color. So if you want blue hair, red represents a dark blue and purple a almost white blue. You can achieve a nice gradient with the darkening/lightening tools. When you do the face, make the upper half of the eyes darker for the pupils and a off white next to it, as if the hair is casting a shadow. This adds depth to your eyes.

On the back is normal base hair, and the front pigtails as well as the back flow. Use the color key to get a nice look.

The leg is any sleeve or pant leg. Add a lighter color by the line of seperation and under the limb as well. (More in comments)

this is amazing i wish i could do it but im bad at it
This helped a lot- lol
I almost forgot! There is an in between color between yellow and orange which is a gold. If you are using the lighter/darker tool this is the only color you have to make.

Lol I forgot so much
Honestly, I commend you for doing a tutorial skin! this is very helpful, and you are one of the first people I've seen do a tutorial skin!
Ur welcome! Hope it was helpful!

Oh and by the way, most people add a very diluted share to there skins. You can get this by going toward the top of the palate, but keep in mind that if you do this you cant use the lightening/darkening tool and will have to choose the gradient colors yourself.
This doesnt apply for patterns, only for solid color strips or shirts. Add a darker line of color to the top or bottom.

To give the appearance of one item over the next, use the second layer. This is immensely helpful for depth, as above mentioned. Comment any questions you have, and I will try to answer them. Hope this was helpful!
