Orca looked at his room. His father was gone, and now he had to save a whole kingdom from falling. He wanted to go to sleep. And he did, and when he woke up, he started packing. Somebody opened the door to the castle, and Breeze and her little brother Gale walked in. 'ORCA! Gather Smoke and Pearl and come quick!' Breeze went to go get Smoke, while Orca went to find Pearl. They eventually met together in Orcas room. 'My town!.. LavaClan destroyed!'

'You know, you are being very brave. You could save our kingdom. We could be rewarded with a lot of money, enough to have more than two meals a day,' Pearl and Aqua looked at each other. 'Orca gave me some money that they said they didnt need,' She showed the bag that had been in her purse. The mom took the money from Pearl, told her to thank Orca, and they started to eat.

She found her in the kitchen, making fishcakes. 'Yeah Pearl?' Pearls mom sat down with the fishcakes in a pan. They both sat down, and Pearl cleared her throat. 'I am leaving,' Pearls mom gasped. 'WHAT?' Pearl explained how King Geode wanted to take over Alynthia, how they had to find the Medallion to save Alynthia from total destruction. How she might not come back.

Pearl walked to her house. Was she going to tell her mother? She would freak out. But she had to tell her. She walked into her house and took her shoes off. 'Mom?' Pearl looked around the house for her mom.
