A large stomping came from the stairs going to the Library. Smoke charged in. 'Orca! Pearl! Breeze! Come quick!' Breeze popped out of nowhere, while Orca and Pearl rocketed over. 'The king is using a place called The Last Precipice to get his power!' Orca and Pearl looked at each other. 'This story is like a puzzle being pieced together.'

'The Last Precipice is a place where spirits who have suffered from the Spirit Cold go to rest. They are awake but cannot leave The Precipice. To gain powers from it, you can extract Dark Energy, an energy source of evil inside every living being that fuels the rage in all people. Nobody has been able to get there yet, but attempts are still being made. Everyone so far has failed.'

Orca looked at Pearl, her face full of shock. 'What does yours say Pearl?' Pearl opened her book to a page titled The Last Precipice.

'Here is what this book says,' Orca opened the book he had. 'There are many diseases in the world, but one that people dont know is very common is the Spirit Cold. People think that it is a common cold, but is really a cold that sends the spirit of the person who died to a place on The Last Precipice in Mount Scorch. It contains all souls who die from it. The powers can be extracted by taking all the Dark Energy out of the soul. Nobody has been able to access it yet.'

He ran out of his room, with Pearl flying behind him. When they got there, they looked around for two books. Orca went to look for a book on diseases, while Pearl went looking for a book about death. They found them and opened them both.

Breeze knew that she needed to leave, and not with the grin that she made when Orca and Pearl were together. 'Orca look at me,' He turned his head, 'everything will be alright. He is in a better place now and-' 'Do we know that? No we dont!' Orca looked at her. Then he remembered. 'WE NEED TO GO TO THE LIBRARY!'

'Im sorry. I never had a Dad. Then I lost my mother. I understand completely,' Pearl walked in. Breeze moved out of the way. 'Orca' Pearl looked at him with worry. Orca sat up. She hugged him very tightly. Orca returned the favor. 'I hate this,' Orca let go and looked at his wall, 'Why do I have to be king? Can I change how this ended? Why didnt I die?'
