Shadow's mother was Sendaris
and her father was Valtaris, therefore, she was purple. Her and her parents lived in a small, secret cave for 3 years. Then the Valtaris found this cave, and found the family. It was seen as betrayal for both clans, and they set the house on fire, and killed Shadow's parents when she was only
3. The Sendaris heard of this and came to where this home was said to be. They found her in a corner, absolutely still and silent. They decided to let her live, and they took her in. But she never felt like she
belonged. So when she was 12 she ran away and went to live her own life. But the Valtaris found her and tried to catch her, but she had a very powerful song that she had learned to wield when she was very young. She had got away and lived in the wilderness for 4 years. She loved the forest and never wanted to leave. She still remains in the forest, enjoying her life alone, in the mountains.
