help me figure out how to make my skins look better! How to shade, make cute outfits, how to do hair, etc! Comment what you think I could work on *looking at my most recent skins* in a NICE way. Be respectful or I will remove your comment.

hey- im kinda late to respond, but if you see this thank you for the tip! <3
:) your welcome! I don't know if it made any sense, but i tried ;-;
I love all of your skins so much! I love how you have variety, like different skin tones and things. I do reccomend trying out different shading for hair. ( Contact me on my profile page if you'd like more help with that, I can make you a base so you can use them and then when you want a different color just edit it. ) Maybe try making different styles/colors of clothes, like maybe if you've made a skin with a yellow shirt really lately, don't make one with a yellow shirt again? I hope I helped!

I personally try to avoid having defined squares in my shading, for example your purple skies reshade. Doing that cuts the flow of the shading and makes it look unnatural if that makes sense? not that skins can look natural being block based hahaha. Try making a detailed skin base first (like actual skin) so you can figure out what kind of silhouette you want your skins to have and you can then use that as a guide for actual shading.
Ok! Thank you so much for the tip! Im trying to figure it out but my shading just sucks xd
Your skins are very blocky and bland. They're good as a first step, but practice makes perfect. I recommend starting by learning how to create colour palettes and hue shift. A good website to look at is colorhex for colour palettes. You should be using at least 3 different colours for each part of the skin (ie hair, shirt etc). if you want a pink palette for example, you may have a deep hot pink, pink then orange as highlights. The middle shade will always be the main shade overall.

I have to say, the back of the hair almost always looks the exact same.
Ya, Its just because I need to look around and ponder what other skins look like. And im just trying to find the perfect shading to use, so I didn't want to put a lot of effort into it if nobody liked my shading. But, thank you for the tip and I will try to make the hair look different.

o ok! thank you for your help!! <3 you are very nice
thank you for your help! <3
i think your colors are very nice, before hand. However, I think a good way to improve your shading is to add more detail towards it. (if you want a simple style some detail is still always good!!). Try even exploring out of your comfort zone with colors and shading:O
ok! thank you for your tips & help! <3 ur very kind! :)
