This clonetrooper variant is basically a predecessor to sandtroopers, a specialised version of the phase 2 clone armor designed for use in desertic conditions. Wolfpack clonetroopers under the command of commander Wolffe and general Plo Koon wore this outfit in the 10th episode of The Clone Wars season 6, The Lost One.
