Kongu began life as a Le-Matoran from Metru Nui. On Mata Nui, Kongu became the Captain of the Gukko Force and right hand Matoran of Turaga Matau. Under Jaller's leadership, Kongu and four other Matoran journeyed to Voya Nui, where they transformed into Toa.
