''Too late to turn back now!'' Came Dominick's muffled voice as he was buckled into his place.

''I'm afraid he's right,'' scientist number one said, ''No turning back now. You signed up for this.''

Lynn scoffed. ''Well I didn't know everyone else would be so...annoying.''

Once everyone was strapped in and everything was triple checked, we were given a thumbs up. ''You all ready?''
Everyone except Logan and Lynn gave a sharp nod, clutching onto the handle bars so hard their fingers were starting hurt.

Before the scientist closed the hatch, he grinned at us. ''We'll be monitoring you from here. Oh, and I almost forgot one thing.''

All of our hearts jumped and we could hear Logan breathing quicker and quicker.

''Watch out for the space-floating aliens.''
''Ever heard of space food?'' Scientist number two asked.

Dominick exchanged a glance with Lynn and nodded. ''I had some when I was younger. The ice cream is great, but I can't say the same about everything else.''

I cheered. ''Looks like we'll be living off of ice cream for a year!''

''What about WiFi?'' Maggie said.

Lynn groaned again. ''Seriously? /WiFi/ is your main concern? I'm having second thoughts about this mission.''

Lynn groaned, staring disgustingly at the helmet in her hands. ''/Please/ tell me I don't have to wear this. It will completely ruin my hair.''

''Sorry, what did you say? Can't hear anything with that acccent of yours, Frenchie.'' I teased, earning myself a dirty look from the girl.

''Alright, alright. Can we stop arguing before we're even facing certain death?'' Addalia said.

''Hold up, hold up.'' Logan's face turned even more white.
''What if we encounter some creepy space-floating alien that gets inside our rocket ship and tries to kill us?''

The last part of Logan's sentence was muffled due to the first scientist shoving his helmet on and strapping him into the seat. ''This thing was programmed to fly itself, so I think it can ward of any /space-floating/ aliens.''

Maggie and I snickered softly to ourselves as Lynn pulled a hairbrush out of her bag. ''What about food? Will we have anything to eat or drink?''
Lynn groaned, staring disgustingly at the helmet in her hands. ''/Please/ tell me I don't have to wear this. It will completely ruin my hair.''

(Journal Entry One, POV: Makaela.)

''But, like,'' Logan stuttered as we started loading into the rocket. ''What if we all die?''

Scientist number three gave him a not-so-encouraging grin. ''Nonsense! There's only an eighty-nine percent chance that you will /not/ survive, but I have a good feeling about you guys.''

''That's comforting,'' Magdalene said sarcastically.

''I agree with Magd-'' Dominick started to say, before being interrupted.

''Maggie is fine.''
