(Im making this up) Thousands of years ago, there were great civilizations in the magical void dimension known as the End. Ruling these massive kingdoms were the evil Ender Mages, who worshiped the great Ender Dragon. However, these civilizations vanished, their inhabitants morphing into the creatures known as endermen, and leaving behind only the ruins of End cities and the strange twisted shulkers to guard whatever treasures are within.
