3,000 years before the events of wild force the Animaria was under attack by orgs. the sixth ancient warrior Merrick Baliton was assigned to protect Princess Shayla while the others fought the orgs along side Animus. They could not defeat Master Org who destroyed Animus. Merrick, with little hope left, went off in search of the legendary Wolf Mask. He found it at Nayzor's temple along with the Wolf, Alligator, and Hammerhead Shark Wildzords, using their Megazord formation the Predazord to destroy Master Org. Merrick could not take the wolf mask off however, and it slowly turned him into an org like creature called Zen-Aku. The other five warriors were forced to imprison him. 3,000 later he escaped and attacked the city until the Wild Force Power Rangers and princess Shayla turned him back into his former self and he joined the team to fight alongside the rangers as the Lunar Wolf Ranger!
