For inspiration, you can always search up real outfits or look in clothing shops online and try to make them into skins (and hey, you might find something you would like to buy too xD). Maybe try looking at skins made by a variety of skinners and study their techniques, shading and colour palettes.

One thing I like to do for inspiration is look at people around me and imagine their clothes in a skin. I even like to alter some outfits. Just some suggestions! :D
