At this point I'm full on crying. I know what this orb is. It's the rest of his life essence. If I take this, I can live on but he won't exist.
'I'll find another way! You don't have to disappear!!'

'NO DAD STOP-' He shoves the orb to me and I wake up back home. Tears stain the carpet.
'Jade!!' My mom runs in panting. She has the body of a fit person but she herself, is not fit at all.
'Yeah?' I say, tears still running down my cheeks as I sit up

'But... But how?! You died! I saw it happen!!' I realized what happened. His smile had completely disappeared.
'I'm not alive Jade. We're both dead.'
'B-but... I couldn't have died! I-I can't!!' I get up and my dad grabs my arm
'Remember how I said I would always be here for you?' I nod
'Yes...'
'I have something for you. It will bring you back. Say hello to your mom for me.' A tear runs down his cheek. He hands me a orange orb

My arm was bleeding but due to the adrenaline, I couldn't feel a thing. I run to my house, which wasn't far away and rush into my room, digging through all my stuff. My mom didn't know anything about this. She just knew that I had epileptic seizures. I found it. In my hand was a smooth, purple stone. I held it to my heart.
'Please respond...' In my head I hear a TV static like sound. 'Just one more secon-' the stone s
The stone shatters in my hands and I let out a piercing scream. It hurt so much... Not the stone stabbing my hand. The noises I heard when the stone shattered. Screams. All I could hear was other people's screams. I could feel their pain. Every. Single. Pain. I fall to the ground. Screaming. Everything was black. No one in sight. Then I hear a familiar voice,
'Jade.'
'Who....'
'Are you ok?' I see my dad. But... It can't be... He died 10 years ago... I saw it all... I caused it... How...?

Chapter 3 - Really?
I wake up. I'm not at home though. I'm in the hospital.
'Who brought me here?' I ask, waiting for a response. Nothing. I stand up and walk but I get yanked back by the IV in my arm. Frick. That really hurt.
'Ah! Jade! You're awake! We were worried!!' My mom walks in and hugs me.
'What happened?' I ask. Her smile fades.
'You... Had another seizure.... We were afraid it was fatal...' Oh no.... That means....
'Mom, I have to go.' I pull the IV out of my arm and run out the door
