6. (Also my personal preference) Make the eyes 2x2 (not including the eyebrows) I just think it looks better.

5. Make sure the colors go well together. Sometimes ill look up what colors go well together.

4. When shading, in between like arms and stuff, make sure its dark. When I shade I personally prefer to change the colors when it gets darker. For example, in my skin Starstruck, in between the shoes werent just darker than the actual shoe color. It was totally different.

3. When you shade eyes, make sure that the top of the eyes are dark. They dont have to be like the same color as the eyebrows dark but pretty dark compared to the bottom. I mean, it depends on your style. Oh, thats another tip. If the hair color on the skin is really light, still make the eyebrows dark. For example, if I make a skin with blonde hair, ill still make the eyebrows brown or dark brown.

2. Make sure you have body and overlay. I mean, you dont just copy what you have on body on overlay. Like, for my skins I always start with two pixels for eyebrows over the eyes, but sometimes when I put overlay on, it looks like only 1 pixel.

1. (This is my personal preference) Always have the eyebrows and eyelashes showing. It might sound kind of confusing, but its really not. You know how in my skins I always have eyebrows and eyelashes? (unless its a boy) Thats what I mean.
