Is anyone ever gonna learn that combining robots with humans is a bad idea? Anyway, this is supposed to be some wild alternate reality where the military begun to include robots in the forces, starting with air pilots. Essentially, only have of their body is, y'know, robotized, due to fear of malfunction, and they're still working on a waterproof coating for seaplane pilots. But hey, robots.
