the skinning community is dead, that is what you need to understand, posting like this will not change anything, most 'skin stealers" don't know what they are doing, believe me, when I first joined this site I did the same, they do that because they want to make a little edit of a skin, and they don't know about crediting, sometimes they don't even know how to access other posts, so chill, and quit if you want, because this is not getting better.

First off, I'd like to thank 232 followers here and 103 on PMC! I'm seriously thankful for every last one of you. ------------------------------------------------------------------- I have multiple topics I'd like to discuss. First, let's talk about skin stealing, the thing that made me leave a while ago before I came back. If you are a current skin-stealer, stop. This is exactly like art thievery. It is extremely disrespectful, and it offends the original creator. It is NOT a good thing. I have had many, many skins stolen, and I have seen many, many more of others having their skins and/or art stolen. This is also plagiarism, which can earn a $100-$50,000 fine AND a year in jail. Now, in the skinning sense, the punishment isn't nearly as severe as in art or literature. Mostly it results in people yelling at you in the comments and possibly your account being banned, and though I'm not completely positive about this, IP banned. I recommend reading the descriptions, just in case the original creators of the skins you take without permission don't allow it. If you steal a skin, you WILL be found. I assure you. ---------------------------------------------- My next topic is taking someone's shading. I don't think this has ever happened to me, but this is also extremely disrespectful if you don't get permission and if you don't give credit. I know it's hard to create your own shading, but you'll learn, I promise. --------------------------------------------------------------------- My next and final topic will be verbal assault on your fellow members of skin sites. If you get into an argument with someone, I won't stop you until it gets too far. Crossing the line is attacking people with phrases such as, "Everything you do sucks!" "You should just kill yourself!"(that is a BIG no-no) "No one likes you!" "You and your family should die!" and other phrases along that line. Verbal harassment/abuse can result in high level felony charges. If you're using these phrases online against others, this is cyber-bullying, which is illegal. Please look up the consequences for these criminal actions you might cause, and think before you act or speak. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have any questions, and I mean any at all, please feel free to ask me!
