Meet Lance Smithy, the blacksmiths of Hyrum. Lance, Ocean and Gil, lost his parents but due to a family condition. He fears that he may fall to this deadly thing that spreads in his family. Lance is a gentle and courageous man who doesn't take No as a first answer. He burnt his shoulder while working with a strange metal, one he had never seen before. The mark it left looked like a spiral but it hasn't healed. Lance likes his job but fears it takes too much time away from seeing his friends.
While he was young him and Ocean were very close. Their parents were also close friends as well. The day Ocean's mother died he was around 3 but Ocean was only a few weeks old. Her father told him to never tell Ocean how her mother died, and to not let her fall the same way her mom did.
