I'll give you a Tip... This is just a basic way of shading. Alright, you're in the editor.. Let's say you have a dark red. Press the key "Z" to make the color darker, or press the key "X" on your keyboard to make it lighter. You could go advanced and use the "color wheel", but I think you should use the simple shading thing I mentioned. Hope this helped! <3
