Some more background lore:
- A few individuals in the fantasy world can possess elemental powers. This can be unlocked via the sacrifice of something important to the individual, and physically changes them upon unlocking it. For example, Chila had sacrificed her left eye, becoming blind in that one. It also became a lighter shade of red to symbolize that she gave it up for the power of fire. Her hair was also changed.
- Only 1 elemental power may be attributed to a person (so no mixed powers).
- Elemental powers are usually attributed to someone that has a similar personality to the element. For example, Chila's fiery, innovative, and fun personality matched her up with fire magic.
- Very rarely can people have both Animal Morphing and Elemental powers. Usually, the powers are similar to each other (Dragon = water, Phoenix = fire, etc).
